COHH Earns Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency

Center of Hope-Haiti (COHH) is pleased to announce that we continue our streak of high marks for management, programmatic and financial transparency. We’ve earned the Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency for 2023! 

A Seal of Transparency is issued by Candid (formerly known as GuideStar) to demonstrate the level of transparency non-profits attain in managing their programs. To attain Platinum status, a non-profit organization must have achieved bronze, silver, and gold statuses as well.  “This is an excellent way to show current and new donors how well we conduct our business” said Julie Atkinson, Executive Director of COHH. “COHH believes in being transparent as to its management, programmatic and financial activities. We are determined to provide the children with an elite education in a country where intellectual capital is sorely needed.  Our Board of Directors retains diligent oversight of the finances of the organization in order to maintain the trust of our donors and to earn the trust of new donors.”
