The Graduates – An Update
COHH Scholarship Fund Recipients
The graduation of our first COHH class of 9th graders took place in October 2020. It was delayed from the scheduled June date due to COVID-19. The students, namely, Darlande Louis, Lumonise Pierre, Claudnise Hilaire, Ebert Joseph, Frantzcise Simon, Widelka Simon, Djerwensky Dely all passed the national exams that allowed them to continue their education in the 10th grade at COLLEGE DOMINIQUE MAZZARELLO, a Catholic school run by the Catholic nuns of the Salesian Order (Complexe Educatif du Sacré - Coeur) in Hinche, Haiti.
COHH formed a Scholarship Fund to continue its support of the students. With the generous donations of COHH supporters of the Scholarship Fund, COHH pays the students tuition, books, tutoring and transportation. The school year has come to a close. We are delighted to share with our supporters that all of the students have been promoted to the 11th grade. This is a great achievement for each of them, their families, COHH and our supporters.
The Scholarship Fund
Our current 9th graders will be graduating in July and taking the National exams. Our expectation is that all nine of them will be attending COLLEGE DOMINIQUE MAZZARELLO in the fall as 10th graders. It is the desire and intention of COHH to continue its support of all of the graduates through their high school years. The Scholarship Fund will be the primary support for the continued education of the graduates. We are encouraging all of our supporters to sign up for recurring giving to the Scholarship Fund on our website. Your support will help our graduates have a brighter future.
