SUMMER DELIGHT IN SCHOOL

The COHH children delight in attending summer school. It is an opportunity for not only catching up and going ahead with subjects, but also with friends. Candidates for admission to first grade are evaluated by the teachers. We winnowed the applications down from 90+ to 30 in summer school.  Unfortunately, we are only able to accept 15 of them.

We have some children preparing for the subjects at the next grade level and some revisiting subjects in which they did not do well in this past year. We are proud of them and their parents and caregivers for the love they show for learning. No one is giving up and everyone wants to continue their education.

Summer school does come with its challenges. While the children do not wear their uniforms during the summer, they do receive breakfast and lunch. They also use school supplies and school equipment. COHH provides full staffing for teaching and for administration.
