I arose early to once again see the children gather in the morning in anticipation of the raising of the flag the start of the classroom day.

Given all of the adversity in Haiti today, it was indeed good to know that the children retain a strong desire to continue their education. I continue to be impressed by their resilience in their environment and their intellectual capacity to make progress under such conditions. It gives mr great hope for a brighter future for each of them.
