Help From Friends Down Under

For the 4th year in a row, Welkin Entertainment, Ltd. held its Sonic Forge Concert  in Melbourne, Australia for the benefit of the Center of Hope (Haiti), Inc. Welkin brought together over 30 heavy metal bands on three stages at the The Espy, 11 The Esplanade, St KIlda, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia for a 12 hour concert.

Tim Charles, the owner of Welkin Entertainment and a member of the COHH Advisory Board, advised us shortly after the concert that “Sonic Forge went very well here in Melbourne, Australia last weekend!” Tim also advises that over 800 people were in attendance.

We are very appreciative of the initiative of Tim to “adopt” COHH as a cause he wants to support and his continued support over the last 4 years. In recognition of his efforts and those of Welkin Entertainment, Ltd., COHH presented its Hope Award to them at its 8th Annual Gala in New York, New York on November 6, 2013.

Tim came to COHH  4 years ago by first listing his proposed event on the COHH website. It is a prime example of what anyone that wants to help COHH in their own community can do. We are pleased to welcome all those in attendance at the concert as friends of COHH and thank you for your support of Tim’s initiative.
