Every House Was A Home
The pictures tell the story. Haiti has once again been devastated by nature - in this case hurricane Matthew. These skeletal shacks used to be called home to many families. Destitute by all measures, the families had the ground pulled from under them. The pig tied to a tire was an attempt to save an item of value in the marketplace. The peope that occupied these homes need your prayers and your support. Matthew blew the lid off the conditions in Haiti and laid open to the outside world, once again, an impoverished nation that needs our prayers and our help. While COHH did not sustain any material hurricane damage, there are many in Haiti who lost their lives, were injured, and left homeless. There are limited ways inwhich we can help and we want to be a strong voice for those who need help but can not be heard, not being helped or are being ignored. We encourage you to do the same.
