Carine Jean Claude Named To Board of Directors
Center of Hope (Haiti), Inc. is pleased to announce that Carine Jean Claude has been appointed to its Board of Directors, effective March 21, 2016.
"We are delighted to have Ms. Jean Claude join our Board," said Emmanuel St. Juste, the Chairman of the Board. "She has expressed a desire to help children in her homeland." "Carine knows that it takes quite an effort by all of the Board members to achieve our mission," said Julie Atkinson, COHH Executive Director. As for Carine, she says, "I am just grateful and blessed that I am able to be helpful to an organization that has shown its love for the children and the Haitian people."
Carine Jean-Claude is the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President, Legal Affairs of Arrow Electronics, Inc. Carine establishes and implements policies and procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the Company are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with applicable rules and regulations. Carine develops, conducts and oversees internal reviews and audits to assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies and conducts compliance investigations, audits, and responds to government inquiries
Carine is head of the employment law function for the U.S, wherein she advises senior management, including the Chief Executive Officer, General Counsel, SVP of Human Resources on various employment/human resources matters. She oversees and provides advice and strategy for employment matters, policies and issues including pre-litigation, dispute resolution, investigations and government inquiries.
Carine is a former employment law associate with the law firm of Edwards & Angell, LLP and a former Litigation Associate of the law firm of Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP. Carine received her Juris Doctor degree from Boston University Law School and her Bachelor of Science degree from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
