Nancy M. Lipscomb

My name is Nancy Lipscomb.  I have been a director and secretary of COHH since its founding.  As a mother and former teacher, I have always been committed to quality education for all children.  When my husband, James, returned from a mission trip to Haiti and shared with me his desire to help children there, I was eager to join him.

I am proud of COHH’s commitment to providing a quality education to the poorest children of Hinche, Haiti.  Local teachers have shared our goal.  Our students come to school each day eager to learn and have scored highly in all national exams.   As we see students now graduating from our school, we are faced with the challenge of guiding them into advanced education and vocational training.
