We Wish You A Merry Christmas!
Our children, caregivers, parents, teachers and staff gathered on Monday to celebrate the holidays before school recessed for the year. As you might imagine, this is a festive time of year. The children dressed up in their very best to provide musical and other presentations. We then had the presentation of small gifts and sharing of food and beverages. Although we have held the celebration for four years, it still puts a lump in one's throat to think about the day-to-day lives of the children and their caregivers and contrast it with the joy and expressions of appreciation exhibited during our celebration. They remind us of the grace, the peace, the comfort and the joy that God shares with all of us regardless of our stations in life. We do indeed have much to be thankful, but nothing more than the birth of Jesus Christ.
