Meet Our 2017 Graduates

We are pleased to announce that the Center of Hope (Haiti), Inc. Elementary and Secondary school held its sixth annual graduation June 20, 2017 for 82 students in grades 1-6. Please join us in extending a hearty congratulations to our students, our teachers, our administrative staff and the parents/caregivers, each of whom played vital roles in the education of the children in this school year. Note that in Haiti, graduation is a time to rejoice and our children dress up for the occassion and forgo the traditional uniform of the school. They also carry their drinks with them as you will see in the pictures.

Our sixth grade class, led by Marie Carmelle Duvil, their teacher,  are the first chilldren to attend our school starting in July, 2011. Next September they will join us as junior high schoolers in the 7th grade!

 

 

 

 

Our 5th grade class, led by Kelson Pierre, their teacher, will join us as 6th graders in September

Our2nd grade class, led by Julmise Jean-Baptiste, their teacher, will join us as 3rd graders in September

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our 1st grade class, led by Marie Etienne, their teacher, will join us as 2nd graders in September

 

 

 

The pictures below are of the caregivers, friends and relatives who attend the graduation ceremonies. As you can see, they are very proud of the accomplishments of the children and serve as vital support for the continued success of our children.
