Every Dollar Counts

Haiti Children

Our donors come from all over the world and all different backgrounds.  Each one is making a valuable investment.  Donations large and small make a big difference in the lives of the children at Center of Hope (Haiti).  Here are some of the ways your donation can make an impact:

DONATIONHOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
$1Provides a one-month supply of clean, fresh water for one student.  Contaminated water is one of the leading causes of childhood illness.  (Source: www.haitiwater.org)
$10Supports the average monthly cost per child of essential supplies for learning, such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, textbooks, and art supplies.
$25Covers the average cost of food per child each month.  Hunger and food insecurity are chronic problems in Haiti.  (Source: www.ruralpovertyportal.org).  Our students receive breakfast and lunch.
$40Covers the average monthly expenses for each resident child, such as clothing and toiletries.
$125Pays the monthly salary for a cook, who provide the meals for our students and resident children.
$200Pays for a one-month supply of diesel for our back up generator.  The electrical grid in Hinche is unreliable, so having a back up generator is essential to ensuring our site has power 24 hours/day.
$250Pays the monthly salary for one of our dedicated teachers.  Haitian schools are plagued with overcrowding.  We maintain a 1:15 teacher-student ratio.

Help us continue to provide education, nourishment, and care to children in Haiti by making a donation today.  Want to help sustain our mission?  Recurring donations can be set up through Network for Good.
